The Atiku Campaign has warned Nigerians to be aware of the All Progressive Congress (APC) gimmicks by their Presidential Candidate Bola Tinubu.
Atiku further urges Nigerians not to surrender to Tinubu’s authority as he is currently doing in Lagos.
Charles Aniagwu, spokesman for the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, provided the warning during a press conference on Tuesday in Asaba and cautioned that if Nigerians allowed Tinubu to become president, they would be committing themselves to domestic slavery.
He claimed that Tinubu, who had already taken control of Lagos, was looking for a way to extend his influence over the other 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
He urged Nigerians to avoid making the same mistake as the people of Lagos, who gave him total control over all affairs in their state.
According to him, “as a campaign council we are urging Nigerians not to make the mistake of submitting themselves to internal slavery by the APC whose Presidential candidate had since captured Lagos and what he is looking for is to expand his territorial control beyond Lagos to control the entire country in form of slavery.
