Nelly Chinelo is born Chinelo Anyakei is a gospel singer, songwriter, praise and worship minister, and performing artist minister based in Anambara state in Nigeria. She started a music career at one of the fellowships of the Catholic Charismatic renewal of Nigeria as a lead singer.
Due to the regional success of her debut album titled My Sweet Jesus, her fans nicked named her after the album.
Chinelo is a graduate of the Anambara State University. She is describes her music as gospel, worship and contemporary gospel.
