The year 2019 has been a great year for Nigerian gospel music industry as lots of talented artistes emerges and have been making waves through the release of their singles.
Worshipculture Radio took a critical look at a few of these artistes and the expectations for 2020.
This anointed songstress released two singles in 2017 titled “Have Your Way” and ‘Satisfied” which got her attracted to so many and later landed her a record deal in 2019 with EeZee Concepts, a gospel Record Label that has the likes of Mercy Chinwo and Chris Morgan.
Within this period of signing with the Record company Judikay has made so much impact with the release of 3 singles “Chindinma”, “More Than Gold” ft her label mate, Mercy Chinwo and the last single “Songs Of The Angels”.
It is no doubt that this newbie has the potential to dominate the gospel music scene in Nigeria come 2020.
2. Moses Bliss
Moses Bliss is undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s gospel sensation at present. His song “Too Faithful” is everybody’s favourite including non-Christians.
Before the release of his hit single “Too Faithful”, Moses Bliss has released “He No Dey Fall My Hand” in 2017 and “Count On Me” in 2018.
Moses Bliss is a multi-instrumentalist based in Abuja and he’s under Christ Embassy owned Love World Records.
Watch out for more of this youngster in 2020.
Yadah is a fast rising Abuja based Gospel singer who debuted in 2017 with the single “Goodie Goodie” and has since release more singles including the recent hit single “Beyond Me” which is receiving so much media attention both online and offline.
Get ready for another side of this sonorous singer in 2020.
T’Keyz is a talented recording artiste, instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, producer and a well-honed musician. He has dropped awesome singles such as “Egole” and “Jesus Did It” and has been in great collaborations such as “Ike Di” by Pastor Nonso.
This great minister is one of the talents to watch out for come 2020.
Aghogho is a certified HR professional and a committed vocalist at the House on the Rock Abuja. She recently released a 10-tracker album titled “You Are” that featured re-known Nigerian gospel artistes.
She is a force to look out for in 2020.
6. Testimony Jaga.
This fast rising Gospel act Saliu Aliyu Olaiwola, popularly known as Testimony, Mr Jaga, is another voice that emerges in 2019 though he has been in the industry for a while but started gospel music after giving his life to Christ in Christ Embassy in 2012.
His ministration at LIMA 2019 Awards shot him to instant fame with the song titled “Jesus” that trended worldwide.
He has other songs that have been well accepted by music critics such as “Gone For Life”
