Fast-rising, sensational gospel music recording artist/minister, Peterson Okopi has emerged the winner in “The Discovery Of The Year Gospel Artist In Africa” category at the just concluded ‘CLIMA Africa Awards.
The awards, which was held at the prestigious Shehu Musa Yaradua Centre in the Nigeria capital city of Abuja had in attendance, top gospel music artists, gospel entertainment promoters, politicians, and government dignitaries.

Peterson Okopi, whose debut album, “Osuba” has enjoyed massive airplay on TV and Radio stations around the world and has been on Apple’s top 100 Songs and Album since its release in May 2021 till date, has become a sensation and household name in Gospel Music industry beyond Nigeria. He is signed to TWC Records and set to reach the world for Christ.
CLIMA Awards, which is an acronym for “CHRISTIAN LEGENDARY AND IMPACT MAKERS IN AFRICA” is one of Nigeria’s long-standing gospel entertainment awards bodies with credible track records. The organizers have positioned themselves to celebrate and encourage Nigerian gospel entertainment practitioners in their own little way.
