I Hear Music in the Air Weekend returns to Cincinnati for 15th year!
The I Hear Music in the Air Weekend will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the acclaimed gospel music conference with a weekend of events. Cincinnati, OH– I Hear Music in the Air returns to Cincinnati, OH May 13th-16th, 2016 for it’s 15th year.
The weekend will kick off with the highly anticipated I Hear Music in the Air Concert at Inspirational Baptist Church on May 13th at 8:00 p.m. The show will include performances by Grammy Award winning artist Tye Tribbett, Brian Courtney Wilson, Ricky Dillard, Tanya Baker, Vashawn Mitchell, Earnest Pugh, Tasha Page Lockhart, Zacardi Cortez and more.
On Saturday, May 14th, the New Artist Showcase will take place at Inspirational Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. From 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., the I Hear Music Choir Showcase will occur, featuring local Cincinnati choirs. Dan Larkin (Southern Baptist Church) and Pam Crumbley (Galilee Baptist Church) will also be honored as two of the longest standing ministers of music here in Cincinnati. Marcus Cole (formerly of Commissioned), will host a listening party of exclusive new music from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. An Up Close and Personal with Tasha Page Lockhart will take place for guests from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
The Legends Ball which will honor local Cincinnati and gospel music industry “legends” at the Sharonville Convention Center at 5:00 p.m.will close out the weekend of events on Sunday. Dorinda Clark Cole will deliver the keynote address. Honorees include the African American Chamber of Commerce, the Cincinnati chapter of The Links, Ricky Dillards New Generation Chorale and Impact church Everett Cork and Eric Ellis.
