House of Representatives Meet NLC, TUC Over Suspended Strike.

The House of Representatives are at war between the Federal Government and the organized labour over the current increase in the inflate price of petrol and electricity tariff.

The Nigerian Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress had collectively claim their willingness to take action on the nation ongoing strike.

Also protests to force the Federal Government to stop the increase which had become an issue in the country.

On Sunday, The Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila met with President of the NLC, Ayuba Wabba including his TUC counterpart, Quadri Olaleye.

Both Wabba and Gbajabiamila blamed that the agreement between the government and the workers to prevent the current strike had fallen.

“We, in the House of Representatives, are on the same page with you,” the Speaker told the labour leaders.

The Speaker, Gbajabiamila advised against the critical effect of closing down the government at this crucial time and urge the workers to stop the planned action.
