Gospel Artist and pastor  Marvin Sapp and six members of his team were not allowed to partake in a meal at the Ruth Chris Steak House located at 431 N. Dearborn in downtown Chicago because they didn’t have on the “proper” attire.

When fans who claim to have been there bristled at his action of posting the event and tried to call him out his name, he followed up with the below:

Marvin Sapp

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is a chain of 136 steakhouses across the United States and in several international locations. The restaurant is regarded as an upscale fine dining establishment. The dress code is usually a range from business/dressy to business casual.  You do have the ability to book a private room if  needed. Why was Pastor Sapp not afforded that choice? Pastor Sapp was willing to work with them, but according to Marvin’s post the the manager was not open to compromise.
